I wish to report unauthorised white paint markings that have been applied to the public road outside number 56. I personally witnessed a resident painting these markings on the road and have photographs showing the activity and the resulting markings.

The markings appear to have been created by a private individual rather than the highway authority and give the impression of a reserved parking space or official road marking. As this is on the public road , I am concerned that unauthorised markings have been applied and may mislead road users.

I request that the matter be investigated and that any unauthorised markings be removed if appropriate. Photographs are attached.
