Wootton green road
Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 20:25, Saturday 11 July 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 16076.
I am writing to raise a complaint about the condition of Wootton Green Road. There have been potholes on this road for well over two months, and despite how dangerous they are, nothing seems to have been done to repair them.
Unfortunately, I hit one of these potholes and it burst my tyre, leaving me with an unexpected repair bill and the inconvenience of being stranded. It’s frustrating that a road which is supposed to be safe has been left in this condition for so long.
I have photos of the potholes and the damage to my tyre, and I’m happy to provide any evidence needed. As this damage was caused by the poor condition of the road, I will be making a claim for compensation to recover the costs I’ve had to pay.
I would appreciate an explanation as to why these potholes have been left for so long, what is being done to fix them, and how I can submit my compensation claim.
I hope this issue is taken seriously so that no one else has to go through the same thing.
