Bedford Road, Houghton Conquest

Reported via mobile in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 07:24, Monday 3 August 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 16906.

The new road has been opened and the road markings and the signage do not match and it’s causing high numbers of near misses when both directions are unsure who has priority as they believe they both do. The issue has been ongoing for a few weeks and is highly dangerous and needs immediate action please
