Top half of How End Road up to How End Cottage (MK45 3 JT)
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation obstructing visibility, footway, road, or sign category anonymously at 12:37, Thursday 6 August 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 17085.
The hedge on the RHS as you travel up How End Road from How End Farm to How End Cottage (MK45 3JT) has not been cut by the owners (How End Farm) for between 2 and 3 years. The hedge is growing into the road forcing vehicles to the other side of the road where there is a drainage ditch.......obviously dangerous. On the partially blind bend about 200 yards from the top of the road there is no line of sight and it is only a matter of time before there is an accident. Additionally, because of this the road on the LHS is either pot-holing or starting to fall away into the ditch. The longer this goes on the more expensive it will be to mend, let alone end up with a vehicle in the ditch
