New road off Bedford Road opposite playground

Reported via mobile in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 16:46, Tuesday 11 August 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 17249.

The bumps, sleeping policemen, traffic calming measures are lacking arrows and as you approach them the road looks flat so as there are no arrows people who don’t know they are there could damage their car and not slow down. I have been told that this is an unadopted road and the council have no jurisdiction over it. This is not acceptable as so much traffic has been diverted down this road where there are parked vehicles and potentially children running out across the road to the children’s play area. I believe this road opened on the 15th July and many people are unhappy with the situation.
